Description
POSITION SUMMARY : Performs treatments / activities under the supervision and direction of a licensed therapist and / or licensed therapy assistant that supports the operations of the rehabilitation department.
Requirements
DUCATION : High school diploma or equivalent.
CERTIFICATION / LICENSES : BLS certification required.
SKILLS :
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to be flexible in a fast paced environment.
EXPERIENCE : Experience in healthcare preferred.
NATURE OF SUPERVISION :
Responsible to : Director, Rehabilitation Services
ENVIRONMENT : Works in a clean, well lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Potential exposure to communicable diseases, combative patients and hazardous chemicals.
Subject to stressful professional relationships and situations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Good physical condition. Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing and walking. Lifts, positions, and transfers patients and manipulates occupied equipment.
Lifts supplies or equipment up to 50 lbs.
