The Mom Project is excited to partner with our client, who is looking for a Jr Financial Accountant to join the team. This role will report to the CFO responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping including AP, bank, and credit card transactions, and accounting reports.
It will also handle critical processes in our loan operations such as managing client information in a loan management system, processing wires for loan originations, and managing a weekly ACH file for client payments.
This role will work closely with our Client Relations team to provide excellent and fast customer service by responding to requests for client account information and payoffs.
Finally, the role will include general office duties.

Requirements :
- Ability to create, manage, and analyze budgets, as well as forecast financial performance based on historical data and market trends preferred
- Accounting software proficiency with 2+ years of QuickBooks experience required; skill in reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies timely
- Ideally 4+ years of MS 365 suite of productivity tools required with 4+ years using Excel in a financial capacity preferred : ability to use intermediate to advanced Excel skills and analyze large sets of financial data (need to be able to use Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP’s, data sorting and grouping, conditional formatting.
Ability to export data out of QuickBooks or new loan management system for further data analysis in Excel).
- Ability to integrate and utilize different financial software systems for seamless information flow; preferable experience with a loan management system
- Demonstrated ability to prepare client-facing documents accurately and efficiently
- Organization and Time Management : ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and ensure that deadlines are met, often shifting from an office task to a financial task
