What you’ll achieve
Participate in the development of next generation large scale AI Infrastructure including accelerated compute, AI fabrics and AI optimized storage.
Engage with high profile AI customers to optimize solutions for their applications and tune the system for maximum performance.
Drive innovation at datacenter level with liquid cooling technologies and power density.
You will :
Productize solution / configuration working with customers across L10 and L11. Work with US, EMEA & APJ customers in defining their datacenter cooling facility requirement and incorporating them into design.
Develop solution Overview across L10 and L11 validate with Engineering
Propose BOM / SKUs to meet technical requirements and review with Engineering & shape the offer accordingly
Design Liquid cooling solution to span different geographical areas
Design Air, Liquid and other cooling solutions based on Datacenter and customer requirements

Essential Requirements
Advanced working knowledge of heat transfer and the ability to analyze component / system level problems and apply advanced cooling technologies
Deep knowledge of thermal testing, flow and thermal measurement techniques, and the use of FEA, CAD & CFD tools to help optimize and guide thermal solutions along with the ability to optimize thermal solutions for operating environments, business needs, and product requirements is a core requirement
Ability to collaborate with Dell’s technology partners and supply base on cutting edge technology development and work with ODMs on mechanical, thermal & electrical aspects of system design
Understanding of the competitive and business needs while developing technical solutions including knowledge of manufacturing processes and the tolerance control requirements for high volume production environments, and author architecture specification to be a guiding light for development of future products.
Experience interfacing effectively with suppliers to ensure they are both doing research and providing information on products or services that have value to the company, instigating and coordinating these efforts as necessary on a continual basis
Desirable Requirements
7 years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering with emphasis on thermal science, fluid dynamics or heat transfer.
Years of experience offset with an advanced degree
Ability to conduct presentations to peers, cross-functional teams, and director-level leadership with some travel
Compensation
- Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $216,000.00 - $323,000.00 base salary
