As Program Staff, you will play a vital role in delivering engaging and educational experiences for Scouts by facilitating all Sea Base sailing and program adventures based in Islamorada, Florida.
Key responsibilities include teaching kayaking and paddleboarding techniques, leading ecological and historical tours, and guiding snorkeling lessons.
You will also assist with the daily care and maintenance of camp facilities, oversee dock staff duties, and facilitate gear shakedowns.
Additionally, you will plan and lead weekly closing ceremonies, teach small boat sailing (summer staff only), and guide bridge fishing activities.
A passion for the outdoors, a commitment to camper safety, and the ability to inspire Scouts are essential for this position.

Sea Base is a unique Scouting program that offers aquatics programs found nowhere else. Whether your interests lie in sailing, scuba diving, rustic camping on an undeveloped barrier island, fishing or a combination of all, this is the place for your Troop, Team, Crew, Sea Ship or Explorer Post.
Sea Base serves around 16,000 participants annually.
