What You'll Bring :
- 8-10+ years of experience in a creative copywriting, or creative director role, with at least 3 years at an agency or consultancy to B2B clients and at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position (either agency or corporate environment)
- Proven track record developing brand positioning platforms, messaging and big ideas (i.e., concepts) for B2B marketing campaigns.
- Portfolio and / or writing samples that demonstrate a mastery of creative verbal expression on a wide range of marketing and branding projects deployed across various channels and platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation skills, and written communication skills, the ability to articulate and sell creative ideas effectively and to produce clear, compelling, and creative copy.
Passion for storytelling, branding, and driving emotional connections with audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
- Leadership qualities including team-building, motivation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
Impact You'll Make :
TransUnion is seeking an Associate Creative Director who understands the power of big ideas and impactful storytelling. As a strategic and creative thinker with deep experience in positioning, concepting, copywriting and advertising, you’ll play a critical role in developing innovative positioning and campaign concepts for campaigns that captivate audiences.
In this role, you'll collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with strategic marketing objectives and brand standards while pushing the boundaries of creativity and storytelling.
As our Associate Creative Director, you'll wear multiple hats sometimes serving as an inspired storyteller, other times as a creative problem solver always bringing our brand messaging and positioning to life in compelling concepts, narratives, messaging, and copy.
With a strategy-first mindset, you'll understand how content and design work together to influence and persuade. Your creative vision, collaboration skills, and ability to elevate storytelling will be key in driving our brand forward and connecting with audiences on a deeper level.
Reports to Senior Vice President, Global Marketing Strategy, Creative and Brand.
Provide creative direction and guidance to a team of designers, writers, and other creatives, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives, preferences, and feedback, translating their vision into compelling creative briefs that drive big ideas.
Lead brainstorming sessions and ideation processes with marketing partners and other functional marketing leaders to develop original and creative solutions that resonate with target audiences and align with project objectives.
Develop big ideas and campaign concepts that cut through the marketing clutter; sell in those ideas with stakeholders and internal clients.
Develop written content for various channels, including web, video, and other marketing communications, aiming to enhance brand recognition and favorability across regions, verticals and audience types (B2B / Consumer).
Collaborate with writers and content creators to craft engaging positioning and impactful messaging that effectively communicates key brand messages and value propositions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met, resources are allocated effectively, and deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform creative strategies and approaches.
This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The salary range for this position is $136,700.00 - $225,500.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s).
This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
