Akkodis is recruiting for a Design and Manufacturing Process Engineer for a manufacturer in the the New Haven, IN area, near fort Wayne, IN.

This is a direct hire position with a pay range of $70K-$85K.

Design and develop new products, components, and systems using SolidWorks.

Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.

Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and production teams during design implementation.

Ensure successful integration of designs into production processes.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Experience in design and process engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software, including advanced features such as surfacing and assemblies.

Process Improvement experience

Experience in project management, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.

Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to design and manufacturing processes.
