Northwest Center is looking to hire a Senior Director of Business Development for our newest business, Day8 Staffing Solutions.

Day 8 Staffing Solutions enters the market with a new brand identity, building upon a 20-year strong staffing footprint in the Puget Sound & Mid-Atlantic regions.

The Senior Director will develop a national market strategy and operations plan to expand to new clients. Specializing in managed services, we offer a comprehensive range of staffing designed to meet business needs, including customer engagement, employee engagement, community engagement, and back-office outsourced services.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader focused on driving the company's overall growth, emphasizing enhancing our sales strategy, and supporting all client relationships.

In this role, you will lead efforts to expand our customer base, extend our market reach, forge strategic partnerships, and ensure our service offerings meet the high standards our clients expect.

This role demands a visionary leader with a robust sales track record within the staffing or consulting service industries.

  • Build upon our existing staffing footprint in the Puget Sound and Mid-Atlantic regions and develop a national market strategy and operations plan for expansion to new clients by developing and leading the go-to-market strategies.
  • Use comprehensive industry knowledge and experience to develop and support project strategies and advise team members and partners.
  • Create a business development strategy and manage and support business development for enterprise accounts.
  • Work with recruiting to create a clear strategy and process for continuing to identify and secure new staffing talent as clients are identified.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and optimizing resource allocation to support sales and operational activities.
  • Support, coach, and performance manage staffed employees for client satisfaction and staff engagement. Be billable within key accounts as scale grows.
  • Lead market analysis to identify new trends and opportunities for expansion, adapting business models to meet changing market needs.
  • Build and maintain lasting senior-level relationships with clients and partners by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs.
  • Over time, build out and manage the Day 8 sales team towards high performance by setting clear objectives and consistently monitoring progress.
  • Model, establish, and infuse inclusive and equitable mindsets, behaviors, practices, policies, culture, and operations into every aspect of our business, partnerships, and greater ecosystem.

Who You Are :

  • 6 + years developing, leading, and growing large accounts in the staffing / consulting services industry while building senior-level solid client relationships in key accounts.
  • Demonstrated a high level of employee retention, satisfaction, and client management skills.
  • Strong presentation, proposal, and contracting capabilities.
  • Ability to understand client needs and translate them into staffing solutions and contracts.
  • Creating and leading MBRs, QBRs, and ABRs with clients and internally.
  • Proficient in proposal writing, RFPs, negotiations, and final contracting.
  • A willingness to travel to meet with clients and prospects and manage a dispersed team.
  • Experience building and owning a P&L and collaborating with a finance team to update monthly and annual forecasts.
  • Proven ability to operate independently and navigate complex sales cycles.
