Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency with Monitoring Tools
- Extensive Experience with PowerShell Scripting
- 5+ YOE with Azure Services
- Coding Experience with C#
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes
Desired Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (e.g., Chef, Puppet, SaltStack) to streamline infrastructure configuration and manage system consistency
- Familiarity with managing and optimizing databases such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or MySQL
- Azure-related certifications, such as Microsoft Certified : Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Azure Administrator Associate.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (C#) for developing automation tools, custom scripts, or troubleshooting complex systems
- Experience with Containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes
What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown :
- Core services : Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure App Services.
- Kubernetes (specifically AKS) for orchestrating containerized applications, managing scaling, and maintaining reliability.
- Git for version control, with workflows for branching, merging, and pull requests to ensure code quality and traceability.
- PowerShell, Bash, and Python for automating repetitive tasks, configuring environments, and integrating systems.
- Optimize CI / CD pipelines for efficient, reliable application deployment.
Daily Responsibilities
- Use monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Application Insights, Prometheus) to track the health and performance of .NET applications and identify any bottlenecks or inefficiencies
- Manage and refine CI / CD pipelines specifically for .NET applications, integrating with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to provision, update, and manage cloud infrastructure
- Respond to high-priority alerts for .NET services, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and collaborate with development teams for quick resolution
- Deploy and manage applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring optimal scaling, security, and availability.
