Accent Controls, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A, Truck Driver for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution, located at the Naval Air Station (NAS), Jacksonville, FL - MAYPORT.

Job Description :

The Truckdriver drives a truck to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments such as : manufacturing plants, freight depots, warehouses, wholesale and retail establishments.

This driver may also load or unload truck with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep truck in good working order.

Straight truck, over 4 tons, usually 10 wheels. Upon submission of your application, a background check will be processed, and you will be requested to complete a drug screening through a local provider.

The Heavy Truck Driver operates a wide variety of military vehicles to include wheeled vehicles, tracked vehicles, forklifts, and special purpose equipment.

Straight truck more than four tons, usually 10 wheels; capable of driving medium vehicles (one-and-a-half to four tons, usually six wheels) and Light vehicles (Less than one-and-a-half tons, usually four wheels).

Able to inventory, ensure accountability, and read and process documentation.

Qualifications :

• Possess a valid Class A CDL, and possess a good driving record
• Pass a DOT physical.

• Operate a mower, ladder, shovel, rake, mop; hand power tools
• Ability to stand and sit frequently
• Lift up to 50lbs.; carry and walk, frequently
• Ability to problem solve; make decisions; interpret data; organize; and read and write

Working Conditions

This position will require you to work both indoors and outdoors, frequently; in high and cold temperatures; and around loud noise and fumes.

Required Credential / Licensures : Class A CDL, required.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three years; prefer four years of experience
