The starting compensation for teaching one course in the summer is $7,076.

Percent time : 44% to 50% per course, depending on teaching responsibilities.

For Summer Semester : June 20

Position description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of California invites applications for a pool of qualified non-tenure track lecturers to teach a range of mathematic courses.

Teaching Responsibilities : We are seeking outstanding lecturers capable of teaching one or more courses in the undergraduate mathematics curriculum.

Courses will be assigned on an as-needed basis.

General duties : In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.

g., syllabus), maintaining a course website, and using a learning management system( e.g. bCourses at UC Berkeley, Canvas, etc.).
