The Wellness Resource Center (WRC) advances campus community and personal wellbeing through student development, collaboration, education, and advocacy.
We focus on holistic wellness specifically in the areas of mental health, substance use harm reduction, sexual violence response and prevention, and healthy sexuality.
The WRC Administrative Assistant is a part-time, 20 hour / week position that supports our mission by providing administrative, organizational and logistical assistance to the Wellness Resource Center and Campus Advocate.

Work location On-site : This position operates on campus Pay Band 4 Anticipated Salary Range $19.25 to $23.88 per hour Pay Information The pay range reflects base pay for positions in a given pay band across the college.
Individual rates are determined within the range by factors including one’s qualifications, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same band and department budget.

- Serve as receptionist for the Wellness Resource Center (WRC), including opening or closing the WRC daily, greeting visitors, answering the phone, taking messages for WRC staff, and providing referrals to the appropriate on or off campus resource(s).
- Maintain the WRC and Yalich Student Services shared physical and digital spaces; oversee housekeeping, ensure proper maintenance, track and maintain inventory, and ensure all related webpages are kept up to date.
- Assist the Director of the WRC in preparing departmental budget reports, corresponding with donors, monitoring program spending, creating and sending invoices, and journal entries.
- Provide logistical support for ongoing programs, special events, periodic projects, and speakers brought to campus, including room reservations and set-up, catering, travel arrangements, payment, and advertising for the WRC.
- In coordination with Student Health Center staff, process and track required health and immunization documentation for incoming and continuing students, to include documentation required by the State of Colorado and by the college.
- Does this position require driving CC vehicles / being insurable under CC's insurance plan? No Required Qualifications : Some college / Associate’s degree or equivalent additional related experience plus a minimum of three years of related administrative experience;
- intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook); excellent oral and written communication skills;
- proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and basic business math; ability to think critically and solve problems; good judgment and ability to handle confidential / sensitive information with discretion;
- excellent organizational and customer service skills; ability to handle multiple demands and work load; ability to communicate effectively and develop positive relationships with people from different cultural backgrounds;
- ability to work independently, accurately, and with resourcefulness, diplomacy, integrity, friendliness, compassion, and professionalism in all aspects of responsibilities;
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment with timelines and be able to navigate shifting priorities with ease; able to work occasional evening and weekend hours;
ability to operate standard office equipment Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree; experience fostering and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment.
Experience creating marketing / promotional materials; intermediate to advanced level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, use of databases, web browsers, budget and file management software, web design, and ability to learn new databases, software, and social media platforms such as Instagram.
