Analyzes business requirements to develop best practice technical solutions application programsDesigns and codes multiphase program structures and complex utility routines, ensuring that the function and form integrate into Verathon standard and best practice design structuresWorks with Business Systems Analysts and cross-functional departments within Verathon to develop specifications and logic designs that improve the functionality of current and new programsPrepares documentation for applications and modules to ensure that peers, BSAs, and business users have access to and understand the process flowDay-to-day activities of production support and work on development tickets by doing requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of changes to productionParticipates in project planning and scheduling to ensure appropriate resources are assigned and delivery dates set and achievedApplication modernization - works to reduce current technical debt by re-writing older codeContributes to the improvement of existing programming techniques and applications and updates and trains others in the department accordinglyProvide input to the manager on team performance, sharing developmental opportunities and customer service needsOversees the daily routine, delegation, and scheduling for the development teamUpdates key stakeholders as needed regarding changes in the design or delivery of solutionsAids in training, instruction, and direction to less experienced application developersPays attention to the system performances and improves it as and when requiredAids in training, instruction, and direction to less experienced application developers
