OUR ROLE

Are you passionate about creating exceptional retail experiences and driving commercial growth? Waterford, the global leader in luxury crystal, is seeking a Sr.

Manager, Retail and Visual Merchandising to bring our brand to life across both owned stores and third-party retailers. Reporting to our Creative Director , you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative retail concepts that enhance consumer engagement and align with our brand vision.

Leading Waterford's retail design team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting in-store experiences that reflect the essence of Waterford and drive customer conversion across all channels.

With a focus on balancing creativity and commercial goals, you will make a lasting impact on our global operations, ensuring consistency and excellence across markets.

Based in New York City, this role is hybrid, which at Fiskars Group is a mix of in-office & WFH.

WHAT YOU’LL DO AT WATERFORD

You will lead the development of wholesale and retail concepts and visual merchandising strategies that align with Waterford’s brand and commercial goals.

You’ll drive consumer engagement by creating immersive in-store experiences that enhance customer interaction and conversion.

Your leadership will ensure that our visual standards are consistently applied across all regions, ensuring commercial success through cohesive and compelling presentations.

  • Lead the development and execution of global retail concepts for owned and third-party stores, ensuring they align with Waterford’s creative vision and brand identity.
  • Develop and maintain visual merchandising guidelines to ensure consistency across all regions, ensuring cohesive customer experiences worldwide.
  • Guide markets on retail design implementation to ensure visual merchandising strategies are executed effectively and are aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Oversee the strategic roadmap for new store openings, ensuring timely execution and alignment with Waterford’s Ideal Consumer Profile (ICP).
  • Create compelling visual displays for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and window installations, maintaining high standards of brand presentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial and marketing teams to create data-driven, conversion-focused campaigns that optimize in-store performance.
  • Lead training and development initiatives to equip store teams with the knowledge and skills to implement visual merchandising strategies that drive growth and customer engagement.

WHO YOU ARE

You are a creative leader with deep experience in luxury retail and visual merchandising. Your ability to develop innovative retail environments and align them with commercial objectives sets you apart.

You are driven by a passion for enhancing customer experiences and excel in leading teams to achieve strategic goals in fast-paced, global markets.

  • At least 8 years of experience in retail creative management, with a focus on visual merchandising and in-store campaign execution.
  • Strong expertise in retail design for luxury, home interiors, or lifestyle consumer goods.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive commercial growth through innovative merchandising strategies.
  • Proven leadership skills, with a strong record of cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strategic mindset with deep knowledge of retail operations and business alignment.
  • Exceptional creativity in developing and implementing visual merchandising concepts.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead teams and deliver results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.

Salary Range : $150,000-$175,000 Annually
