The Senior Manager, Sales Compensation is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of the sales compensation team for Resideo's Products & Solutions (P&S) business unit.
This global role will lead a team that designs, administers, and communicates sales compensation programs that support P&S's strategic objectives, meets legal requirements, and drives our sales teams to focus on the right behaviors insuring business results.
The scope of the compensation programs includes variable pay, Special Incentive fund (SPIF) programs, bonuses, and other similar forms of recognition awards for both Resideo's internal Sales team, and our external third-party sales intermediaries.
Our incentive programs will support not only product sales, but also service offerings.
The individual will need strong analytical skills, experience designing and administering sales compensation plans, and an ability to excel in a fast-paced, multi-billion-dollar global organization.
We require the ability to connect strategic vision to detailed plans and analysis. You must possess exceptional communication skills in partnering with Sales and business leadership.
JOB DUTIES :
- Passionately lead a global team of Sales Compensation Analysts to perform at their highest level
- Administration of annual sales plan acceptance process including tool ownership and agreement execution, tracking KPIs around delivery & acceptance of plans, and executive level report outs
- Lead annual and on-going Sales Incentive design processes, optimizing Resideo’s investment in variable compensation for its internal and external sales force
- Design and help migrate select sales teams to support recurring revenue models with new sales incentive plans as the business evolves
- Continuous improvement of the Sales Compensation function elevate our processes, controls, governance, and standard operating procedures
- Represent the Sales Compensation function to all internal stakeholders instill confidence in the data, processes, and the end result of the commission procedures.
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders such as Resideo’s Legal team, Total Rewards organization, and business leaders
- Design, build and help execute Sales Incentive plans for Resideo’s Manufacturer’s Representative companies, and other third-party sales intermediaries
- Design, build and roll-out various one-time Sales Incentive programs such as quarterly SPIFF programs, one-time-bonus plans, or other ad-hoc programs as needed
- Train and on-board Resideo’s sales force onto Sales Incentive tools
- Liaise with internal functions such as IT to constantly increase efficiency and effectiveness of Resideo’s Sales Incentive technology tool stack
- Provide regular detailed analysis on Sales performance to sales and business leadership
- Own the Sales Incentive accrual process by working closely with Finance to understand anticipated business results, and translate that into estimated Sales compensation payments
- Continually monitor Sales Incentive trends (externally) and recommend new, innovative approaches to sales compensation
YOU MUST HAVE :
- 4-year college degree, preferably in Business or related area
- 5+ years designing, administering, and analyzing Sales Incentive programs
- Experience working across multiple lines of business in a global organization with understanding of various local regulations or experience with large domestic organization.
- Demonstrated Process Improvement
- Experience Deploying New Sales Compensation Plans & Methodologies
- Executive level communication skills
- Knowledge of and familiarity with common Sales Incentive tools

SALARY RANGE :
In compliance with applicable laws, Resideo provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be performed in NYC, Colorado, Washington, and California.
Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, the specific office location, and pay differences based on the local labor market.
The expected base salary range for this role is $134,152 $233,387.
