Law Firm’s San Diego office has an opening available for a Legal Assistant with a minimum of 5 years of experience. This position requires solid knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court filing rules and procedures with a strong litigation background that includes e-filing, preparing tables of contents and authorities, preparing discovery shells, and very familiar with the litigation life cycle of a case.
Experience with Healthcare, Insurance Litigation and Coverage, and Business Litigation a plus. Must have excellent proofreading and writing skills, and great attention to detail.
Excellent follow-up, initiative, organizational and calendaring skills is required. Excellent typing, formatting, editing, redlining, and computer software skills needed with specific knowledge of Word 2010 or higher, Outlook, and iManage or similar document management system.
Knowledge of CompuLaw, Best Authority, Adobe Pro, Kofax, Comparite, and CCC Macros are a plus.
The firm offers one day of remote work after training.
