T&M Associates is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Staff Environmental Scientist to join our growing Environmental Practice in Irvine, Ca.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
Responsibilities Include :
- Environmental field sampling investigations including soil, groundwater, and fugitive air emissions sampling
- Preparation of preliminary assessment and site investigation reports and support documentation
- Data management and evaluation
- Ability to work in the field or at a project site for short durations
- Construction oversight
- Technical writing including specification development and report preparation
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Safety is required
- If engineer, EIT is required with a goal to obtain a Professional Engineer License
- 8+ years’ experience is preferred
- CIH or goal to obtain, is a plus
- Current 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.
- California Asbestos Consultant and Site Surveillance Technician Certification preferred
- Field investigation experience with air, soil, and groundwater sampling, construction inspection, and / or project oversight experience
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Availability for limited travel as dictated by projects and opportunities, including infrequent Sundays
- Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and / or GIS preferred
