Pharmacy interns must act in compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, codes and standards of the facility. Supportive personnel work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a licensed pharmacist.
Intern will assist the pharmacist in providing quality pharmaceutical care to all patients by performing certain technical duties in the pharmacy department.
This position is located at Regional West Medical Center
Pharmacy Hours : Monday-Friday 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (closed 12 : 30pm to 1 : 30pm for lunch)
Schedule : 20 Hours / week

Works on assignments that are moderately difficult requiring judgment in resolving issues
May assist in recommendation of processes on new assignments

May provide general guidance or technical assistance to less experienced team members

High school degree or equivalent
2 years general work experience
Customer service skills
Must be enrolled in an accredited School of Pharmacy and have a Student License as provided by the State.
Anticipated hourly range : $15.30 per hour - $21.90 per hour
