Job Overview :
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a relevant machine shop environment, demonstrating proficiency in operating CNC machines (lathe or mill).
The primary responsibilities include setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications.
Responsibilities :
- Set up machines according to job specifications and blueprints.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy, making necessary adjustments as required.
- Follow blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine machining requirements.
- Adjust machine settings such as speeds, feeds, and tooling to optimize production output and quality.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and blueprint specifications.
- Assist with troubleshooting machine issues and routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC machines in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of CNC Mill operations, including axis control, speeds, feeds, and tooling.
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation, with the ability to inspect workpieces for accuracy and conformance to specifications.

- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC software (willingness to learn CNC programming is a plus).
- Willingness to learn CNC programming and other advanced skills preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training or certification in machining or related field preferred.
