Position Summary
Murray's Cheese is seeking a hardworking, experienced seasonal stock person to join our Grand Central Terminal retail store! The Stocker will be responsible for maintaining an efficient flow of merchandise in our retail location.
This position will be 32-40 hours per week and requires open availability.
Who You Are
- Exact : You’re super precise! Everything you do is with great accuracy and detail. You enjoy when everything is neat, clean, and well-maintained; it’s in your nature!
- Communicative : You have excellent communication skills! You know how to act as a member of a team and can deliver a clear, concise message when needed.
What You Do
- Receive : You receive all of the products delivered to our retail store.
- Organize : You’re responsible for maintaining orderly inventory in our back of house and sales floor.
- Stock : You bring products to the sales floor as needed, neatly stocking shelves, while upholding proper NYC health code guidelines and product rotation.
What We Need From You
- 5 days a week with flexible scheduling; must be available on weekends
- 2 years experience in customer service
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Food Handler's Certification ideal but not required
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours
- Ability to lift 50 pounds of merchandise
- Knowledge of food safety and a passion for cheese are preferred!
