Apex Home Health Agency in Winter Garden, FL is looking for PER DIEM Home Health Aides for Home Visits to operate in Orange County and / or Seminole County areas.
Job Type : Per Diem
Job Overview :
We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, assisting with activities of daily living.
Duties :
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility
- Assist with medication reminders and prescribed exercises
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Monitor and report changes in client's health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Skills :
- Experience in meal preparation and cooking for individuals with specific dietary needs
- Familiarity with medical records management and documentation
- Ability to transfer clients safely using proper body mechanics
- Understanding of memory care techniques for clients with cognitive impairments
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers
Certification :
75 Hours of Home Health Training Certification
BLS / CPR
Experience :
6 months to1 year of experience preferably home health experience
Weekly schedule : Monday to Friday
Monday to Friday
Rotating weekends
Weekend availability
Overnight
