Employee Relations Specialist (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

  • Provide managers with guidance on improving employee performance and elevating their leadership skills to better coach their teams.
  • Help managers deliver a consistent and effective employee experience when handling sensitive issues such as misconduct, accommodations, and separations.
  • Pair regulatory expertise with empathy and objectivity to investigate and resolve concerns related to harassment, discrimination, and misconduct.
  • Assist leaders with reorganization and restructuring efforts while sharing best practices to build organizational capabilities.
  • Analyze trends, develop actionable insights, identify training opportunities, and suggest policy and process improvements.
  • Partner with various stakeholders to ensure all solutions align with company culture, policies, and legal requirements.
  • Contribute to ER priorities, focusing on data analytics, training, and process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • Expertise in performance management and the full performance management lifecycle.
  • Strong consultative, coaching, and action-planning skills.
  • Experience investigating and resolving misconduct issues.
  • Ability to anticipate issues, problem-solve, and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to quickly establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HR-related regulations is strongly preferred.
