About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2570 To $2856 Job Title : Technologist Job Specialty : Radiologic Technologist - CT Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days 8 hours, 11 a.
m. - 7 : 30 p.m. Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience required License : Illinois IEMA (willing to obtain if not active) Certifications : - CT ARRT License (must be active at time of submission)- COVID and FLU vaccination required (declinations will not be approved) Must-Have : CT certification- GE equipment experience- Experience with neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population Job Description : Perform a variety of routine and specialized CT / X-Ray procedures.
- Maintain the standards of ARRT and IEMA.- Demonstrate courteous behavior through polite and respectful communication with all customers.
- Adhere to the 7 customer behaviors.- Utilize appropriate scanning protocols to demonstrate necessary anatomy and adjust technical factors in accordance with age-specific needs in a timely manner.
- Administer oral and / or IV contrast.- Assist physicians in procedures as needed.- Complete documentation according to specific guidelines.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure readiness when needed.- Adhere to hospital policies and professional standards.
- Follow Radiation Safety and ALARA Standards. Preferred Experience : Experience with Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS. Additional Information : On-call details to be determined.
- Weekends required every other weekend, 9 p.m. - 5 : 30 a.m.
