About The Position

Job Description & Requirements

Registered Nurse Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN)

StartDate : ASAP Available Shifts : 12 D Pay Rate : $2030.87 - $2655.75

Must be comfortable and competent to care for icu patients in the following environments : neuro / trauma sicu, micu, cps / vicu, ccu.

progressive critical care unit (pccu), and ICU / PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.Number of Beds : Critical Care has 100 beds amongst 5 units.

The ICUs are as follows : Sugical / Trauma / Neuroscience ICU B2Medical ICU - MICUCardiology ICU - CCUCVICU CPS / VICUProgressive Critical Care Unit D3N

Required Qualifications

1. NY license (# / exp). Must have a US SSN to submit.

2. 1.5 years of 600+ bed academic hospital experience or 2 years of total (traveling + perm) experience

3. Trauma level 1 experience is HIGHLY preferred . Trauma levels MUST be included on applicants resume and be accurate

4. Must provide a ref from a supervisor during your time as a staff RN

5. Experience floating to a variety of ICUs highly desired.

6. Must be comfortable and competent to care for ICU patients in the following environments : neuro / trauma SICU, MICU, CPS / VICU, CCU.

progressive critical care unit (PCCU), and ICU / PCC patients in the ED and PACU awaiting bed placement.

7. Competency Testing : Required for critical care applicants who meet position requirements. A link will be sent to them that must be completed in 48 hours.

They will also be sent a Skills Checklist that will need to be completed as well.

8. EPIC Experience

9. Professional references must be recent - no more than 1 year old

10. Non-local- see excluded counties in internal notes

Preferred Qualifications

RNs with level I trauma center experience tend to do best in this team.
