Our client, a regional leader in ground transportation, has an immediate need for qualified CDL A Drivers to join our growing team in Queens.
HazMat endorsement required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist with the loading & unloading of vehicles, as needed
- Equipment : Drivers are assigned a truck, Automatic, Freightliners, Penske leased / maintained
- Fuel card & EZ-pass provided
- Daily routes Monday Friday. Weekend work available
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after route
KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
- Commercial driving experience
- 22 years of age minimum
- Maintain a Commercial driver’s license & Medical Card
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
