AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Speech-Language Pathologists who support our students throughout Illinois, and we want you to be a part of our team!

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in DeKalb, IL. This full-time position is based in an elementary school from August 14th to May 23rd.

You will play a crucial role in supporting students across general and special education settings, addressing various speech and language disorders.

Support we provide our clinicians : AnthroMed Education has a wonderful SLP Director of Clinical Support who offers our clinicians support throughout the school year!

Compensation : Full Salary paid weekly

Location : DeKalb, IL

Hours : 35 hours / week

Speech-Language Pathologist Duties :

  • Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth
  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and / or language needs
  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans
  • Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders

Speech-Language Pathologist Requirements :

  • Master’s degree in Communication Disorders
  • Professional Educators License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois
  • Preferred experience in a K-12 setting
