Job Title : School Occupational Therapist
Location : Carrollton, GA
Position Overview : Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Occupational Therapist to join our team in the small and welcoming district of Carrollton, GA.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a manageable caseload of 27 students, providing essential services to support their educational and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and school activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.
Position Details :
- Caseload : 27 students
- Schedule : 2 days per week (16 hours)
- Location : Carrollton, GA
- Type : Part-time
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Georgia
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
