SUMMARYOF JOB PURPOSE :
TheIndustrial Engineer I, Supply Chain will support the engineeringprogram across warehouse and delivery operations for US and / orInternational locations.
The engineer will work independently orwith other engineers through the complete life cycle of engineeringprojects from initial audit, to working with Site Managementthrough implementation.
This includes the design of process changesand standards including supporting communication with employees.Assignments include data collection and analysis, time studies,frequency studies, work sampling, MHE equipment speed calibrations,facility travel map updates, process flow analysis, updateEngineered Labor Standards (ELS), support process improvementinitiatives, perform system configuration and validation, andsupport field leadership on engineeringmatters.
Areas ofresponsibility include Labor Management system configuration &validation, ELS maintenance, process and operational analysis,travel map updates, productivity assessments, conductingperformance audits, field education and process improvementprojects.
DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES :
Performstime studies, data collection & analysis, frequency studies,MHE speed calibrations, facility travel map updates and createsreports based on final analysis andfindings.
Supports the ELSmaintenance and Labor Management System functions includingengineering, system configuration & validation and education tothe field.
Performsanalytical evaluations of operational activities using varioussystems, such as Warehouse ManagementSystem,
Labor Managementsystem, Transportation systems, telematics, routing applicationsand other Business Technology systems viaSQL / queries.
Createsengineering documentation including Standard Operating Procedures,Prescribed Work Methods, WorkInstructions,
Process FlowMaps, and Warehouse TravelMaps.
Supports training onengineered labor standards, industrial engineering and workmeasurement concepts andtools.
Supports FieldOperations and Supply Chain Corporate team in engineering relatedareas such as work methods, ergonomics, process improvement,production thru-put, equipment downtime, and safety of theoperator.
Supports settingbenchmarks on ELS performances and productivity, as well as providetimely reporting of operationalefficiencies.
Acceptadditional responsibilities or special projects as requested asother duties may beassigned.

Solid communicationand presentation skills with the ability to present and clarifytechnical information in a manner that engages and persuades othersfor buy-in.
Ability toidentify issues, challenges and the ability to resolve effectivelyand efficiently with appropriatesolutions.
Ability to applyconcepts of basic Algebra, Geometry and Statisticaldata.
Ability to mine andcompile data from multiple systems for data analysis includingSQL / queries from otherdatabases.
