About The Position
We are currently short four night APPs and are looking to staff one APP per night, with a goal of having two APPs on every night.
The role involves inpatient coverage exclusively, with no clinic responsibilities. Ideally, we are looking for a 7 on / 7 off coverage model, but we are open to discussing other potential scheduling options.
Qualifications :
- Active South Carolina Medical License
- Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification
Assignment Details :
- Position : Night Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Coverage
- Shift : 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
- Location : Inpatient coverage only (no clinic duties)
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : EPIC
- Responsibilities :
- Assist Trauma / General Surgeons with rounding
- Manage patients
- See new patients
- Handle documentation
- Consult Volume : 10-12 consultations per night
- Patient Population : All ages
