About the Facility
Since its inception in 1905, this hospital has served the Sacramento, California area community with outstanding, attentive health care.
It is a member of the Mercy hospitals of Dignity Health. In 2007, the healthcare foundation it is a part of received the Diabetes Physician Recognition from the American Diabetes Association and the Joint Commission.

Facility Location
Woodland is located approximately 15 miles northwest of Sacramento. The area is very well irrigated and this drew people out to try their hand at farming.
In fact The Gibson Mansion in Yolo County, now a historical museum, is the former home of William B. Gibson originally from Virginia who bought a lot of acreage and began to farm and raise livestock in 1857 on this huge property he had purchased.
