Description

What You will Do :

Assist with the preparation of Sprinklr’s global interim (FIN18) and annual tax provision (ASC 740), including substantiating deferred tax balances, effective tax rate calculations and supporting workpapers for tax footnote disclosures.

Collaborate with third party service providers on the US federal, state, and local, and non-US income tax compliance process including data gathering, review and completion of various tax workpapers.

Prepare general ledger reconciliations for tax accounts as part of month-end close.

Research various technical income tax, SEC disclosure, and other US and non-US tax issues as related to Sprinklr.

Investigate and resolve in a timely manner any tax notices and audits.

Assist with maintaining internal controls compliance on an ongoing basis.

Monitor Sprinklr’s nexus footprint and assist with new registrations.

Identify opportunities to streamline and automate tax provision and compliance areas.

Build collaborative relationships across various functions of the organization to resolve tax related questions and issues.

What We Are Looking for :

Strong project management skills, attention to detail, ability to drive work and process improvements.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.

A high level of initiative, teamwork, urgency, accountability, and integrity

What Makes You Qualified

4+ years of direct tax experience working in a large public accounting firm or multinational corporate tax department.

BA / BS in Accounting or equivalent

CPA preferred and JD, MST, LLM desirable.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience with Excel VBA and / or Excel Add-ins a plus.

Experience with NetSuite and Avalara (preferred but not required)

Compensation Range

$74,000 - $99,000 - $124,000

The base salary range for this role at minimum, midpoint and maximum is shown above. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired close to or at the maximum of the salary range.

At Sprinklr, base pay depends on multiple individualized factors, including experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skills, and geographic location.

Base pay also depends on the relative experience, knowledge, skills to our internal peers in the role. Base pay is only one part of our competitive Total Rewards package : the successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Sprinklr’s discretionary bonus plan, commission plan and / or equity plan, depending on role.
