Job Summary :
Nimey Auto Group Inc.
is seeking a motivated and experienced Fleet & Commercial Manager to join our team in Utica, New York.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role that will be responsible for managing our fleet of vehicles and providing exceptional customer service to our commercial clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, fleet management, and a passion for the automotive industry.
Compensation & Benefits :
This position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 per year, with weekly pay.
In addition to a competitive salary, our company also offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and retirement savings options.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the maintenance and repairs of all clients vehicles, including routine maintenance, inspections, and emergency repairs
- Develop and implement an effective preventative maintenance program to minimize breakdowns and ensure all safety and compliance standards are met to each companies standards
- Collaborate with various departments to determine transportation needs and make recommendations for the acquisition or disposal of vehicles as necessary
- Negotiate fleet related contracts and develop relationships with vendors to ensure the best pricing and quality of service
- Train and coach team members on fleet management processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date on industry regulations
- Prepare bids for both new and used vehicles to present and sell
- Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, including including budget and cost-saving measures for our clients
- Develop relationships with government agencies
- Will be working out of our four locations; Nimey's New Generation Cars, Matt Nimey GMC, NextGen Car Care & Winns Auto
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of Fleet management processes, regulations, and industry best practices
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and typing
- Bid writing experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions as needed
