Covenant Physician Partners is hiring for a Fulltime Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team at De La Pena Eye Group located in Commerce, California.
Please note the salary range for this position is $19-22 / hourly.
About the Opportunity
The primary function of the Prior Authorization Specialist position is to provide premier customer service to the patient, physician and their office staff by obtaining facility authorizations for patient(s) scheduled.
The Prior Authorization Specialist is responsible for reviewing prior authorization requests while following established guidelines.
About the Candidate
Minimum Requirements :
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- One (1) or more years of experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or in a related customer service field
- Ability to navigate and successfully perform data entry across multiple screens and software programs
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
Preferred Qualifications :
Multi-line phone system experience
