About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist Job Specialty : Imaging Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM Guaranteed Hours : 40 Experience : Minimum 1 year preferred License : ME State license Certifications : BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required Must-Have : Both CT and Rad Tech certifications- Experience with CTA studies and general studies- IV start skills preferred- Experience with Toshiba and GE preferred but not required Job Description : Immediate start required- Work schedule is Wednesday to Sunday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM- Possibility of covering overnights and being part of the call rotation during weekends- May assist in X-ray if coverage is needed- Patient care includes primarily adults / geriatrics with some pediatrics- Responsible for performing biopsies (training provided if necessary)- Average of 25-30 scans per day- Technology and equipment include Toshiba Aquilion 64 and GE 16 slice PET CT (used as backup)- EMR system : Cerner- PACS : Enterprise Imaging AGFA- Support includes a lead tech, 2 techs on weekdays and evenings, 1 on weekends, internal transport, and an on-site radiologist- Orientation lasts 1-1.
5 weeks based on experience and comfort level- Weekend and holiday rotations required- Flexibility with scheduling; specific shifts will be based on departmental needsPlease ensure your application reflects all necessary qualifications and experience as outlined.
