Job Description

• Develop and maintain direct relationships with specialty finance companies, sponsors, and bankers to source, screen, diligence, and execute on new investment opportunities
• Lead the structuring, negotiation, and execution of securitizations and other bespoke asset-backed financings, including the rating process
• Lead the construction of screening materials and investment memos for internal investment committees

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record
• 8+ years of experience in cashflow modeling and documentation of CLO or ABS securitizations, warehouse, and asset-backed financings;

experience in multiple asset classes a plus

• Demonstrated track record in sourcing and executing privately originated asset-backed financings
• Strong understanding of rating agency process and methodologies for securitizations, prior interactions with rating agencies preferred
• Knowledge or familiarity with insurance investment management a plus
• Strong capabilities in MS Excel and PowerPoint, VBA; Intex and Bloomberg experience a plus
• Proactive self-starter with high attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and motivation
• Excellent organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
• Provide active input for asset management of portfolio investments, including the ongoing development of reporting and risk management
• Develop keen understanding of insurance regulatory capital and accounting requirements in order to efficiently structure investment opportunities

Salary Range : $200,000 - $250,000

Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive.

Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.
