Metal Finisher - 2nd shift

Volt is immediately hiring for a Metal Finisher for a company located in Huntington Beach, CA.

As a Metal Finisher you will :

Electro-stripping involves removing the outer chrome plated layer to expose the underlaying bright nickel finish

Metal polishers and stainers use polishing lathe machines on metal surfaces to correct defects, smooth, satin and prepare surfaces and polish materials.

set up and operate polishing equipment.

racking or wiring of parts, dipping parts in chemical baths and rinse tanks, drying parts with forced air and cleaning or waxing the finished product to obtain the desired results.

Processing living finishes using the burnishing machines ( these machines will require exposure to nut shells).

This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. 8+ hours per day.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Must be able to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, persistence.
• Visual examination of finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Attention to detail and quality of coated product.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Schedule : 2 : 15 PM to 11 : 00 PM

Days : Monday through Friday and occasionally overtime on Saturday

Pay Rate : $19.50 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
