Mid-sized parish in Diocese of Arlington seeks full-time music director for position available June 1, 2008. Wonderful opportunity to serve a parish located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, which is already rooted in the traditional music of the Church.
Responsibilities :
- 40 hours a week with 4 weekend Masses and additional Holy Days.
- Direct adult and children's choirs, as well as Tridentine schola and polyphony choir.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree required, though an accomplished student with excellent leadership skills and service-playing abilities will be considered.
- Knowledge of Catholic liturgy required.
Salary commensurate with experience and AGO guidelines. Organ : 1998 Allen 2-manual digital.
