Our esteemed company is on the hunt for a passionate and dedicated Permanent Field Service Technician in the Blow Molding division.
This exciting role offers an opportunity to work in the fast-paced manufacturing sector, with a focus on blow molding, plastics, and bottling filling equipment.
The position requires a significant amount of travel (90%), making it ideal for those who enjoy being on the move and experiencing different work environments.
To sweeten the deal, we are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Field Service Technician, your duties will include but are not limited to :
1. Performing maintenance and repairs on blow molding, plastics, bottling, and filling equipment.
2. Conducting electrical troubleshooting and controls troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
3. Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings to understand the equipment layout and operation.
4. Working with depalletizers and palletizers, ensuring their smooth operation in the production line.
5. Performing minor PLC programming tasks to improve equipment functionality and efficiency.
6. Traveling extensively (90% of the time) to various sites to provide technical support and solve equipment problems.
7. Collaborating with other team members and departments to ensure the success of projects and tasks.
8. Providing technical training and support to other staff members as needed.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Field Service Technician position should possess the following qualifications :
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
2. Solid experience in blow molding, plastics, bottling, and filling equipment.
3. Proficiency in electrical and controls troubleshooting.
4. Experience working with depalletizers and palletizers.
5. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
6. Basic PLC programming skills.
7. Willingness to travel extensively (90% of the time) to various sites.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
10. High level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
