IMEG is growing, and we’d love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in our .
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide a high level of leadership in a technical, project management, marketing, or business development discipline for less experienced staff.
This position is in Jacksonville, FL; however, we are open to the possibility of a remote environment.
Our portfolio includes education, medical, commercial, multi-family, and industrial.
Some key duties and responsibilities include :
- Make major decisions of design aspects with little input from senior staff
- Responsible for the complete design plan by discipline for projects of all sizes
- Mentor junior team members, and assign duties to design staff
- Technical aspects in addition to leadership, analyses, quality control, and resolution
- Project management and client relationship building and development
Key skills and abilities needed for the position are :
- Leadership attributes with the ability to communicate clearly both orally and written
- Mastery of the technical aspects of one’s discipline
- Demonstrated aptitude to design / manage major projects
- Ability to perform final quality control checks in the area of expertise
Education and experience requirements are :
- Bachelor’s degree (Science)
- A minimum of 7 years of qualifying experience; 8 preferred
- Professional Engineer license
