Responsibilities of the Night Auditor :
- Maintain Accountability : Ensure the swift and precise processing of all hotel records from the previous day to provide essential data for management decisions.
- Create Memorable Guest Experiences : Engage with guests at check-out, displaying genuine care and interest in their stay to address any issues they may have encountered.
- Deliver Exceptional Guest Service : Efficiently and courteously support tired guests checking in during the night shift to help them settle in seamlessly.
- Provide Helpful Assistance : Serve as the main point of contact for guest inquiries and requests overnight, striving to surpass expectations with informative and timely responses.
- Ensure Safety and Security : Adhere to established safety and security protocols, proactively tackle potential issues, and step into the role of "manager on duty" if needed, demonstrating a strong commitment to guest and property safety.

Responsibilities :
- Conduct night audit duties accurately and efficiently to ensure the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours.
- Review and reconcile daily transactions, including room charges, sales, and revenue reports.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during late-night hours, providing exceptional customer service.
- Utilize reservation software to manage room bookings and guest inquiries effectively.
- Maintain security by monitoring surveillance cameras and ensuring the safety of guests and the property.
Qualifications :
- This role requires good verbal and written English communication skills, with experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- An accounting background is also preferred but not required although a strong, accurate attention to detail is necessary.
- Previous experience working the front desk is preferred. You must be able to handle cash or credit transactions and have front-office software proficiency.
- This job requires light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 10 pounds frequently with a regular need to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- From time to time, you may need to assist with luggage which may require you to exert force of up to 50 pounds of force.
This role may be asked to assist with van service if so a valid driver's license will be required. Long hours, many of which may be spent standing, as well as the ability to work independently, are essential.
- This job is the overnight shift hours of 9pm - 7am primarily.
