Under the direction of the assigned Faculty, the student worker will support department activities, including research, the Applied Liberal Arts certificate program, and the Writing Center.

- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to complete detailed work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population.
- Ability to analyze and categorize data and produce convincing data visualizations.
- Knowledge of Excel and Photoshop CS.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least a 2.5.
- Must be currently enrolled or attending classes at Florida Polytechnic University.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AND / OR OTHER SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OF LAW :
- This position requires a criminal background check.
- This position is subject to federal and state privacy regulations.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE : The work schedule for this position will be 10 hours a week and will be worked out with the lab technician, dependent upon the student’s class schedule.
A Student worker is limited to a maximum of 20 work hours per week while classes are in session. During semester breaks and summer term, a Student Worker is limited to a maximum of 40 work hours per week on an as-needed basis.
EXPECTED STARTING SALARY : $12.25 hourly.
