About The Position
- Job Title : Medical Doctor Job Specialty : Oncology Job Duration : 16 months Shift : Day 8 Mon-Fri 8-5 Full time, Holidays off, No hospital call Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : Active Medical Licensure, or in the process of obtaining licensure, is required in the state in which the physician will practice Certifications : ABMS or equivalent AOA Board Certification in the specialty(s) or subspecialty(s) of practice;
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers Must-Have : Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Degree;
completion of graduate medical education training program in the specialty or subspecialty of practice. Graduate education must be obtained through an ACGME or AOA accredited institution Job Description : - Provide patient care that meets or exceeds the standard of care for the specialty or subspecialty of practice.
- Perform patient care duties according to the schedule determined by the specialty and site of care. - Maintain the volume of care defined by the standards set by the specialty and site of care.
- Engage in effective, professional collaboration with all members of the healthcare team. - Adhere to all professional expectations as outlined in the Physician and APP Handbook, your letter of agreement, and medical staff bylaws where privileged.
- As a formal or informal leader, you must role model our values and professionalism, and create a psychologically safe workplace while teaming with those who support you in providing care.
- Required skills & experience include effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. - Physical requirements include interacting verbally with others, operating computers and office equipment, reading computer monitors and documents, and remaining sitting or standing for long periods.
This position requires proficiency in English for reading, writing, and speaking.
