National law firm seeks attorneys with varying degrees of construction litigation experience in defense work (construction, premises, products liability and general liability cases).
New York Bar required and New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania Bars a plus. Excellent work environment and opportunity for qualified candidates.
We are looking for a Construction Litigation Labor Law Attorney to join a growing team that handles a significant amount of construction litigation cases.
The right candidate will have substantive experience handling cases that deal with Labor Law Sections 240(1) and 241(6) as well as contractual indemnification issues between the parties.
Strong Labor Law deposition experience a must. The attorney will manage their own cases from day to day with collaboration and availability from Team Leaders.
Responsibilities include reporting to clients and carriers, appearing in Court for conferences and motions, complying with discovery, taking and defending depositions, coordinating medical examinations, and preparing and filing motions.
A general working knowledge of negligence cases is preferred as the team also handles premises liability cases.
