What You Will Get To Do :

Qualifications :

• Engineering degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of development experience (Java, Go, Python, or other languages)
• A solid foundation in object-oriented and cloud-native design
• Experience with relational and document databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience learning new open-source software, APIs, and frameworks
• Exposure to automated testing, modern CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
• Familiar with bash, Git, JIRA, and agile methodologies

Responsibilities :

• Partner with software and operations engineers to support a modern private cloud that can handle the requirements for a global company
• Design, build, and deploy services supporting our enterprise cloud platform
• Mentor other software engineers around patterns and practices for highly available systems
• Integrate with CI / CD, Kubernetes, VMs, backend services, and managed-service offerings
• Build and maintain observability dashboards to monitor the overall health of the ecosystem
• Build common components for reuse across the organization, maintaining documentation, demo applications, and reviewing pull requests
• Work closely with our support team and user community to promote best practices for cloud adoption

Education and Experience Requirements :

• Master's degree, or bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience, or high school degree and 10 years of related experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field
