Description B&L has openings for a Resident Engineer (NICET IV) or a Sr. Inspector (NICET III) for the 2023 construction season.
We are seeking administration / inspection staff for specific water / wastewater projects throughout various counties in the Mohawk Valley.
Responsibilities include : Inspect and document daily construction activitiesPrepare daily diary / inspection reports and weekly progress reportsMeasure quantities of materials used and work performedPrepare / assist in preparation of monthly payment requestsReview claims for extra work and change order costsAssist in coordination of utilitiesInterpret contract plans and specificationsAssist in coordination between the owner, contractor(s) and government agencies Requirements The ideal candidate will have water / wastewater / sewer / drainage inspection experience.
Basic computer skills are necessary to utilize construction software programs. Estimated Pay Range : $45-60 / hour. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education / training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
