Nova Health Therapies is looking to hire Special Education Teachers with the following credentials :
Moderate to Severe Special Needs - Special Day Class
As a Special Education Teacher you will :
- Undertake assessment procedures, techniques, and standardized tests necessary for thorough and accurate diagnosis of disorders.
- Undertake development and implementation of Individualized Education Plan including initial, annual, triennial and interim plans
- Have knowledge and expertise in Special Education areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements of the Education Specialist
- Equivalency to Master's degree from an accredited Program
- Possess or be eligible for California Teaching Commission Credential
- Experience in working with students with needs in the areas of specific learning disabilities, intellectual deficits, emotional disturbance.
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods and techniques of educational psychology.
