Production Assembler - Insulated Glass Department

A Swing Shift Production Assembler job in our Insulated Glass (IG) department, in Tacoma, WA, is available at Milgard Windows and Doors.

This position is at our Tacoma Manufacturing building consisting of 500 plus team members. You must be able to perform tasks as assigned in the construction of windows and patio doors in all phases of assembly, in our Insulated Glass department.

In addition to meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency are key elements to your performance.

The hourly compensation is $22.00, depending on experience, plus $2.00 shift differential.

Qualification :

• One year of similar work experience (Assembly, Manufacturing, construction, roofing, and / or Warehouse).
• Mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Compute basic math problems to include fractions, and addition / subtraction.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
