Job Description

Operational Leadership : Oversee the daily operations of the manufacturing facility, including production, quality control, maintenance, and shipping.

Ensure production goals are met while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.

Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.

• Team Management : Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and production staff. Create a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, accountability, and professional development.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Address and resolve quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and provide training to maintain a safe working environment.
• Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels and material flow. Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
• Budget Management : Develop and manage the operations budget. Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures to stay within budget.
• Reporting : Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including production metrics, quality issues, and cost analysis.

Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Customer Focus : Work with the customer service team to address any production-related issues or concerns and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

The Successful Applicant

Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.

g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.

• Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing setting. Experience in similar industries is advantageous.
• Skills : Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and ERP systems.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge : Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations. Familiarity with inventory management and production planning.
