Main duties of the Manufacturing / Process Engineer include :
- Lead plant-wide engineering projects resulting in the constant improvement of facility operations
- Use Lean / Six Sigma / CI methods to improve plant processes
- Aid in improving automated equipment (PLC, robotics) processes
- Use Process Flow and PFMEA methods
- Reduce scrap, analyze data for improvement projects
Qualifications include :
- Bachelor s degree strongly preferred, but not required
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Process or Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Lean and / or CI
- PLC / robotics experience strongly preferred
