We're looking for a Scientist I / II , working in Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products industry in Ridgefield, Connecticut, 06877, United States .

  • Applies mathematical modeling principles to current drug development to bring insight to biological mechanism of action investigations for drug development studies.
  • Develops biological systems models based on literature information and in-house data.
  • Explores, collects, and uses relevant data (e.g., in-vitro, in-vivo / ex-vivo, and clinical data) for model calibration and validation.
  • Analyzes and interprets model results and outcomes to generate testable hypotheses that will yield a quantitative mechanistic understanding of biology and drug action, and to guide appropriate design of experiments.
  • Communicates new ideas, findings, research areas, and opportunities to advance the field within a pharmaceutical development setting (i.

e., publish peer-reviewed literature, deliver oral presentations at internal expert meetings).
