DIRECTOR OF TALENT ACQUISITION*Only US citizens or residents may applyOur client, a top-notch full-service luxury catering company located in the mid-Atlantic region of the United States and caters to high end clientele in the government and corporate sector requires an experienced Director of Talent Acquisition.
The person we are looking for is someone who has exceptional experience in overseeing the hiring and recruitment processes of a Catering company.
The Director of Talent will be responsible for scheduling all events within the company and the recruitment of all front-line service staff.
He / she will also manage department level human resources responsibilities including record keeping, compliance, training, hiring and firing, conflict resolution, event staffing, onsite training, VIP requirements, security and badging.
He / she will support and oversee the recruiting and onboarding efforts for all events. Responsibilities :
- Developing Staffing Strategies : Creating comprehensive strategies for recruiting and retaining staff, including identifying staffing needs, forecasting future requirements, and establishing a sustainable talent acquisition process.
- Overseeing Recruitment : Managing the recruitment process from job posting to interviewing and hiring, ensuring that the best candidates are selected for the roles.
- Training and Development : Implementing training programs for new hires and ongoing development for existing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Performance Management : Evaluating staff performance, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Compliance : Ensuring all staffing processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Budget Management : Overseeing the staffing budget, including salary allocations, recruitment costs, and training expenses.
- Team Leadership : Leading and motivating the staffing team to achieve objectives and improve recruitment processes.
- Collaboration : Working closely with other departments to understand their staffing needs and align the recruitment process with the overall business strategy.
He / she will join a team of professionals who provide exceptional service to meet the needs of discerning and high-end clientele.
He / she will report to the Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Operations. This key position will also provide timely reporting with regards to the hiring requirements of the company and create an overall strategy for hiring teams that work with key clients to design, customize and create memorable events.Key Qualifications :
- Strategic and Operational planning and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred
- Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills
- Team Management and staff performance assessment
- Quality Assurance
